One of our most common requests is for custom, one-off 3d character animations. Until now, our only option was quoting out a traditional motion capture shoot with rental of the studio, fees for actors, a few mocap technicians on site for the shoot, followed by days, weeks or even months of tracking, solving and editing the animations to their final desired format. Even a small amount of animations would cost over $10,000 and few developers had that kind of budget for a few one-off pick-up moves.
